Clear my mind
Okay, still haven't make up my mind.
Its not about being indecisive, rather...okay, let me bring you through what's up my mind.

I think I will really like Perth.
Australia is such a slow-paced place; I really like how that people take things easy there and are not as competitive as we do. (Taaaaaaake things easy, mate. Shops close at 5pm and the time is WHOLLY YOURS!)
Perth especially, is such a peaceful and calm place. I will receive a quality education, yet, do not have to spend so much contact time in school. I think these suit me well.
(And yeah, I can attend soundwave every year as well!!)

Staying in Singapore is not a bad idea at all.
I don't have to worry about anything.
Cooking, washing, everything.
But I really hate that we are so competitive. Unis are so competitive (that they still don't want to contact me; that my father told me to go Aussie or private instead of waiting for their royal replies), everywhere is competitive. We even have to compete to get up onto the trains. So it's like...now is a really good time for me to get out of this stressed-up place.

There is of course something else, which holds me back, which probably is the reason why I haven't yet make up my mind- Family.

Maybe I will stay?
Then leave overseas for postgraduate or something.
I will eventually want to leave here for a year or two.
#rage
I think it's hard to survive in Singapore in the future.

Of choices, pros & cons, and decisions
Right. Haven't make a good decision.
Though I have been looking around for apartments (If you/your relatives have an apartment for lease in Perth, let me know!!)

It's a good chance to leave Singapore since my dream overseas choice accepted (Yupp, suck it up Shanen. Don't even bother waiting for the local unis to reply your appeals.)

But, the both ideas I have in mind, sound good to me.

Will make a decision within the next few days.

Show me the path
Why can't things be much simpler?
A prompt, proper and wise decision.

I don't have much time left.
Too many things to do.
And if I'm leaving, I have got accomodation, shipping, visa, everything to settle.

Why can't things be easier?!

Star Chow
I love Saturday midnights only if...
Channel 8 screens Stephen Chow's films from the Eighties and Nineties.
Those really silly, nonetheless comical films which never fail to make me LOL.

Channel 8 has recently started screening them again. HAPPY!
They have stopped for a long period of time (It feels like years to me. Can't remember how long.)
I would sit infront of the TV and wait for it to appear - like a kid waiting to receive his/her Christmas present. (I refuse to check the TV guide/teletext.)

Please CONTINUE to do so!!!!!
Perhaps, you could screen them on Friday and Sunday nights as well!!!!!
:)

I don't really like summer
It's already through mid-June.
Why so fast?!!!

School is starting soon and I don't think I can get back to the studying life again.

I really don't get people who says things like "Holiday is so boring", "Wish school reopens fast" etc.
WHAAAAAT?!
Actually, what irritates me more is, if it's the same person saying the above, then, moan like crazy (I mean really crazy!) when school reopens and work starts hitting.

Okay, staying at home may be boring, but it beats going to school, HANDS DOWN.
You can see your friends in school and all that jazz (even though you really don't like the studying and examinations), uh huh, SO?!

Alright, just an opinion.
I mean...you don't have to be in school to get to see your friends right?
Don't get it.

You know, these days, it's like...own time own target.
Don't have to plan anything.
Sleep, eat, wake up. And you plan the day from there.
Laze around, watch Japanese dramas, read a book, play a tune on the piano, snack a little, stone much more. I like.

Anyway, I do spaceout a lot.
I didn't realise that until my friends told me.
I have been catching myself spacing out over meals.
Think I can't stay outside for too long. I would just stop all activities, and look around, look through the windows (all-time hobby) - sometimes thinking, sometimes just observing people, the crowd, the buildings, the streets.

Warped Tour 2011 App!
Summer is here agaaaaaain!

Hahaha, to keep myself happy only LOL.
I'm going to attend Warped Tour and Soundwave Festival one day! (Short-term goals)

Singapore really needs to have these kind of festivals.
We have such perfect weather.
Other countries have to wait till their summer. We can easily have it all year round (not during rainy seasons)! LOL.
Wait, maybe not.
The organisers would prolly bring in pop/mainstream bands.
I don't think a lot of our venues support the non-mainstream ones (the ones you don't hear in local radio stations).

FeMale
This post is DEFINITELY not on sexism or what not.

I have asked opinions from my family/relatives/some friends and guess what?
We agree that there are really some (read: quite a few) professions which guys seem to fare better.
No, with that, I do not mean to say that females are weaker. But there are certainly certain industries/professions which if I ask you to name one icon, you would probably give me a guy's name.

Just look at world renowned luxury brands Louis Vuitton (founded by Louis Vuitton) and Prada (founded by Mario Prada).

[Women's Shoes]
One high-end icon which crossed my mind immediately is none other than the Jimmy Choo brand (by Dato Jimmy Choo).

Others include Manolo Blahnik, Savaltore Ferragamo (he was actually a shoe designer) and of course, Christian Louboutin.

[Fashion Stylists]
My favourite would be Gok Wan (British stylist born to Chinese father, British mother)!
Then, there is also Clinton Kelly.
Okay, some credit to female fashion stylists - Stacy London (I only know one famous female stylist, sorry.)

It always seem to me that male fashion stylists are more daring in their presentations.
You can flip through magazines, even local magazines and compare the works (outfit, style, colour etc.) put together by an individual stylist and another. Most of the time, the ones which appeal to me more, are ones which are assembled by a male stylist.

[Hair Stylists]
I don't know others but personally, I prefer male hair stylists.
People I talk to (family/relatives) prefer their male hair stylists too.
Is it their confidence? Their skills?

Look locally. Who are our celebrity hair stylists?
Guy stylists, right?!

If I go to a random salon for trimming, my heart skips a few more beats if it's a female stylist approaching me.
I don't know your experience, but for me, the guy stylist always seem to be a tad more patient and gentle than their female counterparts.

For example, if I ask for a shorter fringe (half inch shorter), the guy stylist usually say something like "Okay, I will cut a little first, then you take a look". Sometimes, they don't say anything but they will just cut what you ask for and leave some room for more trimming later.
If it's a female stylist, sometimes I get a more-than-half-inch-shorter fringe in the first cut. So if this fringe turns out REAL SHORT (too short for your forehead/face/your hairstyle in general), then THAT'S IT.

Okay, I'm not generalising. I have met really good female hair stylist too, of course. But that's my experience thus far.

[Piercers/Tattoo Artists]
THIS CATEGORY. I have much much much more confidence in male piercers than female piercers, really.
Maybe it's because male piercers have more strength and have more stable hands.
This is really really really important. I cannot stress the importance especially for piercings using needles.
Can you imagine getting your tragus pierced, and this piercer doesn't have enough strength to push the needle through your tragus in one, smooth shot?!

Oh by the way, don't, really do not get unconventional piercings (read: anything but earlobe piercings) using ear piercing guns! damnit.
Ear piercing guns are not used in professional tattoo/piercing shops for unconventional piercings (I think they don't even use it for earlobe piercings). Needle piercings are much more expensive, but also, much more safer.

I have this earlobe piercing which was pierced in this typical mall shop (They provide earlobe and tragus piercings services-using ear piercing guns!!)
If I leave my piercing without ear stud for maybe, a few days to a week, then I would have trouble putting the ear stud back. The piercing would most probably close if I don't forcefully push the ear stud in. Lousy gun.

But not the case for my other 2 earlobe piercings which I got really really young. Don't trust technology lol. I think the piercing guns evolved.

Back to topic. Not that there aren't female professional piercers/tattoo artists. But there are seemingly fewer.

Till we meet again
3 months passed by like a breeze.

My work is awesome, and really, I enjoyed going to work!
Great and warm colleagues; learnt so much about different schemes; learnt how to handle customers/complaints; attained a whole new level of tolerance.

I am sooooooo gonna miss Amoy for its Ice Tea, Sap Thai food, Basil Chicken, Banana Leaf, Vegetarian stall/Maxwell/Tanjong Pagar Market/Level 34 random desserts and snacks (especially the fried peanut ball!!) and basically, Tanjong Pagar itself.

So much treasure, so many nice food, so much variety to find there. One will NEVER be hungry.

I will miss the snacking/afternoon tea/cravings sessions with Sherry and Theodora.
Will miss looking out of the window to view the nice scenery (has become a habit).
Will miss the random chit-chats/nonsense.
Will miss watching shuffling/electro/electro house videos with Theo.
Will miss all the colleagues and jokes.
