Hong Kong
We had early breakfast before boarding.
I had never tried having chicken rice and snapple so early in the morning. At 6.30am!
IMG_3954
I guess that explains why I felt so bloated and uncomfortable later on during the flight.
First time in my life that I didn't even touch a single bit of the plane food served. Not even the ice cream!

To Disneyland for some Disney fun.

Hong Kong Disneyland is small relative to Tokyo's. But the staffs were friendly and spontaneous all the same. Just how Disney should be.

I didn't exactly like the chicken and burger. But they were really considerate by giving us gloves so that we can eat the drumlets without directly touching it.

Yes, the first thing I head to, was the dessert corner. Anybody who have went out eating with me, will know that I usually look at the Dessert page of a menu BEFORE choosing main course and drinks (If it's a la carte). Otherwise, it's the dessert corner if it's buffet. Haha.

The Eve Part 2
I just got reminded that AFI performed at Soundwave this year cos Rocksound just released the
Best photos of 2010 at Soundwave.
The best part? First photo is already that of AFI. I see Jade and Davey (as usual). No chance of seeing them again. Not if they decide to perform in Australia again, or, maybe in Japan (Crash Love Tour??):) Singapore? MAYBE, but the probablity is real low, almost zero.

And, this further provoked my recently-gone-rusty-memory that Alesana pulled out from Soundwave 2011.

Well...

The Eve
OMG, ITS 31ST DEC.
Last day of 2010.
What are YOU going to do??

I can't believe time flies so fast.
I'm not really hyped up or feeling troubled by the new school term (cos no school! YAYYYYY!)
You see, every year, I would really treasure this day.
Like, spend the day carefully, thinking about the things that have happened throughout the year, about the new classmates in the new year, the new workload, major exams, and of course, the work that are still left undone during the holidays. But, this time, I felt really free I don't even know what day today is! Hahaha!

Oh wait, actually I AM hyped up. Cos there's no school!
HAHA.

Okay, more posts later!
LAST 24 HOURS!

P.S: I just found out that today is Friday!

Really really really really really hunry.

I can't eat the chilli tuna, chips, cookies, chocolates, pocky!!
WHAT CAN I EAT?

Random + Collated
1. Ahhhhh...I like Patrick Stump's new solo- Spotlight. So refreshing.
Actually I like both versions, but not really the opening of Spotlight (oh nostalgia). Otherwise, it's really good. Haha, it kinda feels abit of an electro stuff to me.
2. Oh, speaking of Stump, what happened to Trohman and Hurley???
3. I can't wait for Ultimate Wheels on 2 Feb'11 and some really proper Kame's Plastic Tears!
4. I think I'm 98% not going to Soundwave Festival next year (Primary reason being Alesana not taking part in it anymore; secondary reason being the Perth date is too close to the release of A'Level results. Brisbane's date is good, plus I'm more familiar with the way in Brisbane, but considering the flight time, I'd rather be in Japan huh). But if anyone still wanna go to Aussie in Feb, I wouldn't mind at all:)
5. The coughing is killlllllling me.

Ahhhhhhh
Oh...it's not the cough.
I'm having a bronchitis.
At this time of the year?!
Oh yes, at this time of the year.
I always fall sick during this period.
My chocolates!!!!!

Today's such a windy day.
So nice.
But my throat doesn't feel that way.
The wind irritates the throat/airway more.

Yule
24 Dec
Christmas Eve was spent with Wei Shan in the afternoon.
We had lunch at VeganBurg!
Great ambience, nicely near to home.
But the KidzMeal was still a bit too large for us, huh. Hahaha.
Or maybe my appetite was hindered by the slight cough.
VeganFrank. Love it.

Wei Shan brought me to Knightsbridge.
I didn't even know there was a new mall.
This is what happens when you always find your way through the underground.
(Read: I have a bad sense of direction when I'm out on the streets of Orchard. Underground's the best.)

Then it was with Mei Ling in the evening.
I haven't meet her for a year!
Just walked around and realised that all the malls are the same that I don't even feel like shopping anymore.
Lepak abit, talked abit and we went to Marche for early dinner.
That was lucky! When we came out at around 6.30pm, the queue to enter Marche was sooooooooooooooo long, it felt like everyone was celebrating Christmas at Marche.

25 Dec
Christmas was well-spent with the family and relatives.
I haven't tried holding so many glasses and drinking different alcohols at the same time.
Red wine, champagne, lychee lime vodka cocktail (concocted by my godsis using Russian Vodka), food, more food, cookies, chocolate logcake (ohyes, I really love pastries, cakes, chocolates and whatnot). If not for my impending cough, I would have eaten more, serious.

Ah and what I found out- red wine soothes the throat, serious.

After that, we headed for some Mac at Kallang at midnight. We wanted to head to East Coast (But thought that maybe a lot of the places won't be open), Then the hawker centre at Kallang (but was empty). So it was pool after Mac. That place looked like a scene out from Sushi Fingers (Don't know the title of the show. It was a horror movie that my sis and I watched when we were young. It's about a group of youngsters getting chased by some zombie-liked humans or maybe, they were real zombies. The sushi were made from the zombies' fingers.), or maybe it was really late like 12.30am, with some lone arcade machines, that's why it looked even more eerie.

MERRILY CHRISTMAS, all!

Out for the whole day today.
I'm tired. Just don't feel like sleeping.
Need some Kame. Want more Kame.

Lazy Sunday
I love shopping for gifts.
Gifts, wrapping papers, gift bags, cards, ribbons, tapes etc.
And am now doing some gift-wrapping (not that I wrap well though) and writing cards.
Wrapping stuffs at this hour is certainly good.

12:27 AM
Sleep and Eat
I'm back.
Glad that I did some sort of shopping, which was practically at H&M.
Satisfied that I had my Hong Kong Milk Tea, cha chan teng's sandwiches, 老婆饼 (I really love 老婆饼!!!!!).

Anyway, AM I THE ONLY ONE IDLING AWAY?
I see so many people getting job offers or are already working.
Nevermind, enjoy now first right (self-console). And I can't decide if I should go to Soundwave or not.

And they said
1. My Weishan is as cute as ever. Always waiting for me, since...like Secondary 3! Like when I'm always the last to leave the Guzheng room since I need to lock the doors and stuffs, She will always be the only one waiting for me. And the other day, she waited again - 1.5 hours - for my contact lens fitting! How great is that?

2. The lovely Khim-chi likens wearing contact lens to riding a bicycle. "Once you learn, you will never forget." How brainy! I seriously love that logic. Oh, Khim-chi offered to accompany me for my lens try too and allocated 2 hours for that. But the first time I went, they couldn't issue the lens to me, in the end, we chatted.

3. Sherry is funny like forever. I said whether we should meet at 6.30pm (for prom) in case some of us couldn't find the way, leaving half and hour of buffer time for entry. She said to meet at 6.15pm, so that "we can lost till 6.30pm"!!

Chilled
Heavy snow in South London.

Woah, so cool (literally). My sis said it's too cold to be cool (cos you can't go out or anything). Yes, and I know my nose cannot stand this kind of cold. (Bad to have sensitive nose like mine. I can only use medicine to control it.) But that's the point. Because it's too cold, you can stay at home, work from home, hibernate at home and sleep all day. Otherwise, you can head out and build a snowman and have some snowfight (Oh, okay, I know. Those people living over there had enough of snowmen and snowfight).
Anyway, nice weather in Singapore these few days huh. Cold and rainy in the afternoon (This sounds like England). Nice weather to do all the cleaning and arranging. And I think I am 100% done with the throwing and packing. Hahaha.

Hungry not
I'm eating a doughnut at this hour?!
(Forgot all about it when I bought it this afternoon)

(edit)
I am ACTUALLY starting to feel hungry now at 11.15pm.
I need a bowl, a huge bowl of ramen. Really.
It's good to live in Japan, because when you are hungry at this hour, you can just head out to the various ramen shops or EVEN the roadsides one to have ramen (The roadsides one are just as great. But I guess they are slowly diminishing cos last year when I went back to Japan, I saw none of them). Then I can leave happily after my ramen meal to buy a drink at...THE VENDING MACHINE!! YAYYYYY, my beloved object is the many ubiquitous Japanese vending machines! YAY AGAIN.
Okay, I know we can go out now to have zichar, satay, bbq chicken wings, bak chor mee and whatnot at 85, Newton and so on. Or maybe cup noodles. But, unhealthy. (I hear someone shouting 'Ramen is also unhealthy. Too much miso.') But miso is still healthier than MSG?

Seriously, I can eat ramen and admire the Japanese vending machines for the rest of my life.
