Last week, the girls and I went to our favourite haunt yet again, for a picnic! The first time we went there together was in 2009, also for a picnic. But we had junk food for picnic then! Like chips, cookies and chocolates. Those were basically what we had for our dinner picnic.
This time, we had really delicious food from everywhere. Baked/cooked/made/bought. Proper food this time round.
Mini muffins made by Jeevi! I think there were 30 or more!
Quiche! Also made by Jeevi. Jeevi said she got her recipes from her secondary Home Economics book. Can you believe it?! (She once baked chocolate chip cookies and carrot cake for us during the Post-Deepavali-Pre-X'mas visit to her home last year. The chocolate chip cookies were really really really good. And the cream cheese used for the carrot cake was tangy enough!) Her Home Econs book must be an awesome one! I cannot remember coming across such recipes in my book. Mine had stuffs like...curry, fried rice, spaghetti. You know? More of staples. Even the desserts in my book weren't as awesome as the ones that she had.
Izzah made this. Cute hearts and rich chocolate!
80's revival.
We didn't really finish everything though. I think my sandwiches made them full hahahahaha.
We played Heart Attack/Stress for some fun. Games which we did not play since secondary school days.
This place is perfect.

Have to get these out
This year is really good for...CONCERTS. (EIGHT MONTHS. YOU CAN HOP FROM GIGS TO GIGS LIKE CRAZY.) Soundwave Festival, Vans Warped Tour, Sonisphere, whatnot. I meant I could not find any luxury of time for the past years/ wouldn't be able to find that at least in the next few years to come, for sure. Really really really really really need to get to one of my favourite bands'/alice nine.'s/KAT-TUN's concert before youth is gone. (HAHAHA, okay exaggerated.)
Soundwave kicks off on 26 Feb in Brisbane. First sidewave on 23 Feb (Iron Maiden's). Alice Nine's Spring Circuit-Prelude to GEMINI tour starts from 22 Apr (Woooahhhhhhh, would be best birthday present). KAT-TUN's live tour from May. (And they will be hitting the 5 big domes of Japan!! Kill me. They would be Johnny's fourth group to conquer all the five domes. I can still totally remember the throngs of SMAP fans carrying SMAP's merch outside the Yahoo Dome/Fukuoka Dome in 2008. They were also flooding Hawks Town/it's HMV, Hardrock Cafe. Everywhere you went, you saw SMAP. Japanese fans...)
See, so manyyyyyyy.
I could have travel and go to the concert by myself (but my friends think it's weird. Reallyyyyy? And my mum thinks it's not goood to travel overseas by myself for concerts lolllll.) __________________________
Come come, who wants to travel to Japan with me? I would have to visit Yokohama this time round.
A little insight into Yokohama: 1. Second largest city in Japan after Tokyo (by population) 2. You can travel to Yokohama from Tokyo via train in just 30 minutes.
Suchabeautifulplace, right? Don't deny... The ferris wheel was the tallest in the world in 1989.
Our flyer. In a way, the nightview from here looks similar lol. That's...comforting.
Yokohama's dayview.
If given a chance, I would work in Japan. I know COL is high, difference in work culture etc. But even if it's for a year or two, I would still like to try it out.

I really admire people who can play songs on the piano (or any other instruments) by ear. Complete with accompaniments. Here's one. Kame aka Kamenashi Kazuya's 1582 Piano Cover.
Actually, I like musicalmyriad's version (Check it out here) the most. But, it feels a tad too rush. Otherwise, it's really good.
This is the original song (I only listen to Kame's solo:)) Sends shivers down your spine.

On the road
My Traffic Police Test, the other day...
I think I got a good tester. My first test item was the slope, followed by parallel parking. And I screwed the parallel parking by striking the kerb. I didn't even know/maybe I was slow to respond. But the tester said "Strike kerb". Made me a little panicky. I didn't really know what I was doing. My mind was like "It's over." So I tried to shift forward and reverse again like twice, before I decided that this whole thing was wrong. Then, I decided to turn out to the correct position, before reversing for parallel parking again. (Thank god, seriously, I didn't mount the kerb while moving out and the second reversing was fine. Aaaaaand, luckily I didn't exceed 5 minutes!!) After that, it was all the other usual circuit stuffs, then out to road.
My warm-up instructor was nice! He's like those outgoing, optimistic kind of person. Reminded me to take it normal, change gears down early etc. His laughter calmed me down.
I also met quite a few nice people who were also getting tested, in the rooms. Made me feel less nervous. Like when I first went in for warm-up, this guy was like "Take a seat. Don't need to be nervous." I was like "Wow, how come he's so relaxed?" There was also this uncle who offered sweets to me and the guy beside him. He probably sensed that we were all nervous hahaha. After the test, I saw another guy whom I met earlier. So we waited for our results and when I got mine, he gave me a hi-five (he knew his results before I did). Woah, okay, that's like cool. So spontaneous.
Yes, and that's pretty all about it:)

Your safe driver, hahaha.
Noooooooooooooooooo, my father wants me to drive to Kallang Leisure Park now.
Update: I just drove to Kallang Leisure Park with my father guiding the ways. Then I drove to Parkway and back home. But, I still can't do perfect vertical parking outside for nuts! (The way to park is different from that in school!) Will try again...
