7:24 PM
5 more hours till 2009.
Apparently, 2008 isn't that prosperous afterall.
Look at the many scandals, disasters, and worst of all, the economic turndown and the recessions.
However, 2008 does provides some weird stuffs,
http://sg.news.yahoo.com/afp/20081229/tts-year-2008-offbeat-c1b2fc3.htmland good stuffs...which I can't think of except Obama's presidency.
For me, there's both good and bad.
For Bad...it's better not to say except that school's ended [which is good!!] and everyone's drifting apart even before we collect our results. Thanks to xxxxxxxx that's keeping some of us together. But I think sec school friends...it's easier to keep together, and for future gatherings, it probably will be easier too. My pri school friends are like...I don't think they will even recognise me EXCEPT chew!! best of the best. [yes, shawn, that's you]
So, 5 more hours.
Make your resolutions if and only if:
-you are bored now.
-you DON'T procrastinate.
-you JUST need resolutions to motivate you, THOUGH you will still procrastinate in the end.
-you just love writing resolutions.
I will procrastinate, so I won't write. It's better to look at what is in for you, before making your plans.
May 2009 brings with it lots of PEACE [that's the most important. The world is seriously in need of more peace delegates to promote peace and harmonious living!], love, joy and good health to all! May the economy returns to it's normal self just like how the clouds would disperse away quickly.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Dated: 29 November-KL
Short Post without pictures cos obviously, I hadn't taken much pictures except the X'mas Tree you see on toppppp.
KL was fun.
All the endless shopping and eating and discovering.
Discovered Colmar Tropicale, which was pretty small with nothing much except for the many Western, French restaurants available. Japanese Village was good.
I ate and ate and ate...
and like I said earlier, was pretty abnormal.
But hey, it's holiday so its normal that one's appetite grows and eat all she can before the mugging starts again.
All the food, eaten and missed.
Nasi Lemak, Peranakan Nasi Lemak, Assam Laksa, Curry Laksa, Penang Prawn Mee, Roti Canai, Indian Mee Goreng, Vegetable Wrap, etc.
The Nasi Lemak costs just RM 1 with a quarter of hard-boiled egg and ikan bilis chilli.
Beats the one we'll get here-fried? flat egg and meatless fish.
AND, I became a dessert maniac over there, cos there is a Hong Kong dessert shop just below and I would go down almost every night to stop the cravings.

Christmas this year was good.
And the continuous rain did not even dampen the yule festival, but adds extra coldness[as in cold weather] to the whole celebration, right?!
Gonna upload some Christmas photos soon!
Anyway, Christmas's gone, New Year's just a few days away.
Are you all excited for 2009 or do you prefer for time to go into a stand-still?
I am not always like excited for a new year, cos well, it's just a new year.
Next year will give real NEW things, cos we're no longer in sec school and that means we are going to new schools soon. That means having to forego late nights, the tons of yet-to-be-watched HK dramas, the many hours of internet usage, long hours of sleep etc., and waking up early in the morning, where my brain and stomach are still pretty dead, and puking due to the change in routine.
long, long, long, longer holiday!
P.S: Just received an e-card from Monica. Haven't talk to you for a long time. Talk to me when you see this!
HAPPY BOXING DAY!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

12:15 PM
Day1-Shimabara
Huis Ten Bosch
Day 2-Nagasaki
This is Madame Butterfly over at Glover Garden
Standing Tall
This was so much fun learning History compared to learning from the texts.
And we walked through the Peace Garden. This picture on top is what's left at the Park after the Nagasaki Bombing during WW2. [Look at the right side of the picture.]
For World Peace-Peace Statue
These are actually paper cranes, folded by the Japanese students. They used these to pray for world peace. [The papers on top are actually peace wishes.]
Then we went to the Atomic Bomb Museum. No Photography, but I saw lots of artefacts left behind after the bombing, which were collected by the authority. Like blood-stained pants, blasted cookery etc. There was this charred rice still in the pot on display too. The rice was actually charred and hardened due to the radiation impact of the bomb.
Later at night, we stayed at the onsen hotel which was called "Obama Grand Hotel".
Hey, is that the Obama island that the news reported?
Day 3-Kumamoto
Went to the Kumamoto Castle and Suizenji Park.
Shopping at Kami Tori was great!
Day 4-Beppu
Mt Aso, world's largest volcano crater
My face all puffed up due to the terribly strong wind.
Later we went to visit Chinoike Jigoku, or Blood Pond Hell. I love this.
The Pond's really red and steaming hot, though the color is caused by some sort of red minerals found below the pond.
Day 5- Fukuoka
Hello Kitty Land
Took some rides. Not bad, the roller coaster was not that much kiddy, pretty exciting.
Fukuoka Dome
S.M.A.P [I don't know who, but it's a Jap Band] was having a gig there, so there were really lots of people. They were really crazy. Women of all ages, the young, the old, like in their 30s to 40s, were carrying the S.M.A.P bag-apparently some sort of goodie bag with posters etc.
Oh, I know one of the members, that is the gatsby guy aka takuya kimura.
at Hawks Town!
Day 6-Fukuoka
Shopping
Day 7-back

12:55 PM
I just logged into myspace, and I realized it's been really really long since I last logged in.
They even want verification!
I'm so pressed for time, btw.
Doing this, doing that.
So sorry I can't meet all of you friends though this holiday is pretty long.
But it should have been longer, say, extended till end of Feb!
Anyway, I'm off now to go send some e-cards!
This will be the first time I'm doing so in 4 years!
[I used to send lots of e-cards, all sorts of occasions...]
Though actually, truthfully, snail mail cards will send some oomps of surprise, however, I always have trouble finding the right, nice card.
E-cards provides some sort of animation too!
ok, gone!

Hey Midnight Earthlings!
I actually meant to update on the Japan trip BUT I met with a serious problem in logging into blogger in the afternoon and at night. But FINALLY, after the hapless hours, I'm able to log back in again.
Meanwhile, I think I'll update that tomorrow or the day after or the days after...
Anyway, what's the most fun thing during this season of celebration?!
TO WATCH
X'MAS SHOWS, OF COURSE!

I love Pocky.
Pocky from Japan is the best snack [and Japanese drinks from the Vending Machines and the exotic flavours of Kit Kat] I can ever get on Earth!!

12:34 PM
I am back from KL.
It's back to Singapore and getting "normal".
Cos it had been pretty abnormal for me to eat so much food for the past week and more.
But I love it. Hohoho.
Think Malaysian food and desserts.
Japan post first, KL next. All pretty soon.
